Beef O’ Brady’s may appear to be an odd subject for a Florida-themed blog. That’s because most people don’t know that this Irish-themed sports bar/restaurant chain began as a single location in Brandon, FL. Now they have over 200 locations scattered throughout the Southeastern United States, where you can get reasonably-priced burgers, sandwiches (including a Reuben, of course), wings, pizza & flat breads, fajitas, ribs and more. Although Fish & Chips is on the menu, this is not your typical Irish Eatery. I see Florida’s influence with the addition of a Cuban sandwich and several other Latin-style dishes to the menu. At the Himes Avenue location in Tampa, where I dined Thursday evening, the Cuban sandwich includes salami – a Tampa tradition. If you dine at this location on a Monday or Thursday, from now until November 19, 2015, mention PAH Outreach to your server and 15% of your meal cost will be donated this local charity.
