Oktoberfest festivities in Tampa Bay began this weekend with St. Petersburg’s Oktoberfest and Franz’s Lagerhaus Oktoberfest, but there are many more Oktoberfests coming up.
In 2013, Oktoberfest Tampa was named one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the U.S. by Shayla Martin of sheknows.com. It comes with all the standard ingredients: German food, beer, music, and dancing. But in this case, all the fun is situated in a beautiful waterfront park. October 9th through 11th, 2015, in Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N Ashley Dr, Tampa, FL 33602. Hours: October 9, 4pm – 11pm; October 10, 11am-11pm; October 11, 11am-6pm. $8 for single-day admission or $20 for weekend admission.
Rocktoberfest, Palm Harbor, FL
Palm Harbor’s Rocktoberfest, featuring two of the Bay area’s most popular bands, Stormbringer and The Black Honkeys, will be on Saturday, October 24th, from 5 pm to 11 pm in downtown Palm Harbor along Florida Avenue. Top of the Bay Oktoberfest, Oldsmar, FL
Top of the Bay Oktoberfest takes over Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, FL, for three days of traditional German music, dancing, food, and drink on October 23rd through 25th, 2015. Tampa Bay Downs, 11225 Race Track Rd. Hours: Oct 23, 5pm-11pm; Oct 24, 11am-11pm; Oct 25, 12pm-7pm. $5 Admission, free parking.
The German American Society Oktoberfest, Pinellas Park, FL
The German American Society’s Oktoberfest in Pinellas Park is said to be the most authentic Oktoberfest in Tampa Bay. It is also one of the longest – lasting three weekends instead of one. The German American Society of Pinellas, 8098 66th St. N., Pinellas Park, FL, 33781. 5 pm September 25-26, October 2-3, and October 9-10. $6 per person.
Dunderfest 2015, Tampa, FL
Mr. Dunderbak’s in Tampa is also hosting a month-long Oktoberfest celebration, from October 1st through October 24th, Thursday – Sunday, with live music, food & drink, and an opportunity to meet German brewers. Pair O’ Dice Oktoberfest, Clearwater, FL
Pair O’ Dice Oktoberfest is the new kid on the block, celebrating its 2nd annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 26th, 2015, in Clearwater, FL. $35 in advance or $45 at the door. Ticket price includes a commemorative glass stein, 5 beer tokens, live German music, and a costume contest. Food costs extra.
Harbor Sounds Oktoberfest on Main, Safety Harbor, FL
The Black Honkeys are playing more than one Oktoberfest this year. In addition to playing Rocktoberfest in Palm Harbor on October 24th, they will be at Harbor Sounds Oktoberfest in Safety Harbor on October 3rd, 2015. The festival will take up 9 blocks along Safety Harbor’s Main Street, and will feature arts, crafts, food, and live entertainment.
Dunedin Brewery’s Oktobeerfest, Dunedin, FL
The Dunedin Brewery has been advertising their own Oktoberfest, set for October 1st through 4th, 2015. German food, live music, and house-brewed Oktoberfest lager will be present.
Two Henry’s 3rd Annual Biertoberfest, Plant City, FL
Two Henrys Brewing Company is hosting their 3rd Annual Biertoberfest on October 24th from 12-4pm. Admission is $35, but there will be 35 local breweries present. That comes to $1 a brewery. There will also be live music.
