Florida Citrus Center: Gas station or roadside attraction?

Driving on I-75 through Central Florida, you may have noticed the vibrant blue, orange, and yellow billboards advertising The Florida Citrus Center.  “Live baby gators!” they excitedly announce to oncoming traffic.  Passing through Ocala one day, I actually decided to stop at the Florida Citrus Center off exit 358.  They really did have baby gators – three of them – in a small aquarium towards the back of the store.

As expected, there was also plenty of Florida citrus for sale.

This place is Florida kitsch central.  I wish pumping gas could be this entertaining everywhere.

Happy travels!
