From now until September 3, 2015 a little piece of Cuba is on display at the TECO Public Art Gallery in downtown Tampa.  City Councilman Charlie Miranda and TECO Gallery curator Debra Radke collaborated to share the beautiful selection of paintings by Cuban artists that is now on display at the TECO Public Art Gallery.  Both were present today for the opening reception of  Known and Unknown: 24 Paintings by Cuban Artists.  Also present was Cuban artist, Juan T. Vázquez Martín, who briefly discussed some of his Tampa-inspired work, honoring the cultural connections between Cuba and La Florida.
