Florida Illustrated’s 2015 Year in Review


Florida Illustrated was founded in July 2015 with the goal of creating an image-centric blog devoted to the state of Florida.  Since then, I’ve attended dozens of events in the Tampa Bay area, and  posted hundreds of photos on Florida Illustrated.

I visited 3 different art galleries: (1)The TECO Public Art Gallery in Tampa for a Cuban art exhibit

(2) the Syd Entel Galleries in Safety Harbor for the Dr. Seuss “Oh the Places You’ll Go” 25th anniversary gallery exhibition;

I attended over a dozen festivals throughout Tampa Bay, including: Wazoo in Tampa; Tampa Underground Comedy Fest, Lagerhaus Oktoberfest, Rocktoberfest, Pumkinpalooza, and Witchstock in Palm Harbor;

I experimented with aerial photography from the rooftops of Jimmy’s Crows Nest and The Clearwater Main Library.
